They call my Nelson. I was found with my back leg caught in a wood fence in Longview. Someone took me the local shelter where they got me some help. Then, NTCR picked me to foster until I am healed and can find my forever home. I am still wary of people and am very hesitant but you can tell I want to break out of my shell because I start purring as soon as you start talking to me. My foster mom spends a lot of time laying on the floor so she can pet me and talk to me so I learn that people can be good.  My leg is all healed now but I sometimes have a slight limp. It doesn't slow me down because I can run like the wind and love to climb to the highest perch on the kitty condo. I have a good heart and a sweet nature, but you'll have to be patient until I can feel safe and trust you. Oh, and I love all the other kitties in my foster home. I just want to be one of the gang. Can you help me?
