We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hi there! If you are looking for a lover boy here I am! At first I was a little scared of people. I grew up on the streets and had the cuts and scrapes to prove it. I was very wary of this human who kept trying to touch me. Didn't take too long though before my tough guy exterior started crumbling. The hisses at the door faded away and I was excited when the human came in to pet me! I love getting scratched all over and I won't sit still for it. You could just hold your hand out and I'll pet myself with it. I do get a little over stimulated sometimes and I give love bites, I'm never rough but I'm told I need to work on that. I still get very nervous when I am picked up and I might never get over that. I also learned toys are the best things ever! Balls with (or without) bells, mice, plastic sticks and springs are all so much fun. I'm so excited to see what my new life has in store for me!
