My name is Jimmy Kibbel. I came from a shelter in Amarillo, I ended up at that shelter because I was thrown from a moving car. I suffered injuries to both of my fronts legs, but lucky for me I did not need any surgery and the nice people at North Texas Cat Rescue took me in and helped me to recover. I am running and playing and jumping now as if nothing ever happened. Despite my past experiences with humans,  I am extremely friendly. I LOVE people, Im a big cuddler and player. I also love other cats. I am fine with dogs as long as they leave me alone, if they don't I will put them in their place ;-) . My current foster dog sibling is terrified of me because I let her know who's boss (she's much bigger than me too!). I have excellent litter box manners too. I'm only 2 years old which is very young in cat age, so I still have a lot of play energy. I am big boy with a dainty little MEOW.

I must go to a special home because I am FIV positive. It scares many people when they hear that, and they turn away, but I assure it that's its not a scary thing. I am not contagious at all to people or dogs. I am only contagious to other cats through vicious biting (violent fighting), which I am not a fighter, I am a lover! Please contact the people at NTCR for more details about FIV and they will be happy to tell you more about it.
