Hello! I'm Jasper. My foster mom and dad named me after the vampire in the Twilight saga because I'm a very handsome boy with beautiful, long hair and golden eyes. I think it's a nice fit. I ended up with my foster family after they saw me on Facebook. I had somehow ended up in the animal shelter in Amarillo. They knew that was no place for a boy like me, so transport was arranged and I was brought to Dallas. Boy, that was a long drive. Once I met my foster mom, I had to tell her all about myself and about the long journey I had been on! I can be a very talkative kitty at times, especially if I haven't seen you in a while. Anyway, now that I've gotten to live with her for a while, I know what kind of home would be best for me. I'm definitely a cuddler. I love to curl up on the couch with you, or snuggle in bed, or sit on your lap. I'm happiest when I'm near the humans. I LOVE stuffed animals. I like to run off with the human baby's toys and play with them. She doesn't always like that. Oh, and kids? It would probably be best if I didn't live with any small kids. I like kids, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to remember that I have to be extra soft with them. Sometimes I forget and the human baby gets sad. I don't like to see her sad. Kids may not be best for me, but I love other cats! I play all the time with the resident cats in my foster home! My foster mom says I balance the home out perfectly because I get along with everyone. I think that's a nice compliment. I would do best in a home with another cat that will play with me.
