Attention NTCR Community We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

This is my very beloved, Raphael. He has cleaned up nicely from his previous life as a stray. I included a photo of him when he arrived to the shelter. He was so dirty and "banged up" looking, he was immediately put on the shelter's "to be euthanized" list and in one of their "EU" cages. His only hope was for a rescue to save him. I could see under all that mess was a beautiful kitty. I wasn't wrong! Raphael
has gorgeous ice blue eyes and the prettiest, softest fur! He got a good bath and clean bill of health from the vet. He has a few broken teeth, but doesn't require a dental for it, nor does it cause him any pain or issues.
I think he'll become even more beautiful as the months go by. Raphael is a wonderful kitty!! He is super chill and LOVES to nap. Most days and nights he is found on his foster mom's bed or sofa enjoying his new-found life of luxury. He loves to be petted and brushed, and will lean into me while I'm petting him. He's very gentle and loving. He does not like loud noises or voices so he'd probably do best in a quieter household.
