Apollo is a blue-eyed hunk who loves people! He's still got a lot of "kitten" in him and loves to play. He's an all-around awesome boy. He was rescued from Amarillo at the last minute. He does just fine with other cats, but would also be happy as an only kitty. Apollo is FIV positive (FIV+). I f you're not familiar with that, don't be scared about a cat with it. It stands for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). It is a virus that is not transmittable to other species and only spread from cat-to-cat via blood - so either by deep bite wounds or moms to babies. Veterinary medicine has learned a ton about the disease in recent years. It does not negatively affect a cat's life or lifespan nor does it impact their quality of life. Apollo has excellent litter box and scratching post manners. If you're interested in meeting him, please contact NTCR.
