I'm Nugget! The volunteers at NTCR named me that because they kept referring to me as a little nugget. It's because I've always been so cute and little. I've grown a little since I went to my foster home, but my foster mom thinks I'm going to stay a small-medium sized cat. When I came to live with her, I was just a baby! I've been through a lot in my short life. I was caught in a trap at a trailer park in Amarillo, then I ended up in JAIL, and then I was in a van for almost an entire day and then I met my foster mom! By that point I was really scared. She's been working really hard to get me to trust humans. All of her hard work has paid off because I've finally realized that people are okay! I am a very sweet and gentle boy. I really like the little girl in my foster home. She's very nice to me and is always so happy to see me, so every morning when she wakes up, I go say hi to her! I would sleep in her bed with her, but her mom says she's still too little for that. She's a baby like me! So I sleep with my foster parents instead! My foster mom says I'm the cutest little boy with the softest, shiniest fur! I don't like to be held much, but I do like to be pet! I will purr very loudly if someone will pet me! I'm very well behaved and have lots of personality. I love to play with the other cat in my foster home and I also love to play with the dog! Boy, I was not sure about that thing when they brought it home, but it turns out he's pretty cool too! I'd be okay with a dog friend in my forever home, as long as it's a gentle one like my buddy now. Another cat would be good too! I just want someone to play with me and hang out with me all day! I'm ready for the right forever home. One with a laser pointer I can chase around! One that won't leave me outside on my own. I like it better inside where I can watch the birds from my spot in the window! Do you have a spot like that in your home?! I'd love to make it my own!
