I'm Burleigh (pronounced Bur-lee) a handsome guy an aristocratic name. I got this name because my foster mom rushed home from a trip to England to pick me up. Don't let the serious face fool you - I'm a silly goofball at heart. I'm very nosy about what my humans are doing, and I make an excellent "helper" nosing and pawing at things. When it’s time for a good snuggle, I will stealthily insert myself into your lap- no need for you to pick up my considerable self!  I love to play, groom and nap with other cats, and I don't mind hanging out with the dogs either; I would be happiest if I had another pet to play with in my new home. A cat tree is also a must for me, so that I can survey my kingdom, have a place to scratch, and reach out for you when you walk past me. At adoption events I act shy and quiet, trying to hide my great personality, but put me in a home and I adapt surprisingly fast. Do you have room for a soft, fun sweetheart like me?
