We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Callisto and her two babies, Lyra and Saros, came to NTCR from Amarillo where their time was “up.” She’s very young, probably around 7-9 months of age, and petite. Callisto is exceptionally sweet and loving. She is very gentle and just wants a quiet home with a person of her very own to cuddle with and a nice lap to sit in.  She's technically still a kitten herself and loves to play! She is very dependent on other cats and MUST go to a home with another cat - preferably a male cat. She's not fond of adult female cats. Callisto is ready for her forever home and comes with excellent litter box habits and scratching post manners. For your “the more you know” moment: Callisto is the third largest moon in [known] the Universe.
