I was rescued from a scary, awful place called a "shelter". It took me some time to realize my foster home was a safe and happy place; I tried to hide all the time at first. But foster mom gave me lots of gentle love, and yummy food, and fun toys, and I decided to give humans a chance. Guess what? I kind of like those humans, plus I adore playing with the other pets in the house. I may always be a little timid, but if you are patient with me then we can become best friends.
