Gideon is a very handsome Siamese mix. His soulful blue eyes tell a sad story. Gideon ended up in a shelter in Amarillo, TX. He was very frightened at the shelter. Sadly, Gideon was placed on the list to be euthanized when NTCR rescued him. After making the long journey, Gideon went to his new foster home where he hid under the bed for several days. If eyes are truly the window to the soul, then Gideon's show a young soul who is learning to trust again. Gideon needs a quiet home filled with patience and understanding. He loves to play with his foster sister, Sahara, and takes great comfort in her companionship. Gideon needs to be adopted with a friend like Sahara or into a home with another cat who will accept him. Once Gideon becomes comfortable, he is okay with being held and will purr while having his chin scratched. Gideon has excellent litter box manners and likes to play with toys. If Gideon calls to your heart, please consider adopting him.
