We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hopper was found by a lady in Greenville who contacted NTCR to help him. He had likely been bitten by a larger animal and had a broken leg, a severe infection and a diaphragmatic hernia. Despite being sick and probably in pain, he was very calm and loving. He had his leg amputated and his hernia repaired. Now he runs around like a normal kitten and likes to play with other kittens his age. He has no idea he has only 3 legs. Hopper would like to go to a home with another kitty to play with. If you don't have any other kitties and are considering adopting two,  Hopper would like you to consider his good friend Polly. She nursed him through his recovery and encourages him to play now that he is feeling better.
