We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Q*bert. I am a loving, mellow, handsome boy. I'm a big boy...I need to lose some weight, and in fact, that's one of my New Year's resolutions! Well, that and to find a forever home! I am super sweet and affectionate. I love nothing more than head scratches will follow you around for scratches until you are no longer busy so that you can give them to me. If you are too busy to pet me, need not to worry, I will wait until you are done. I will let you know that I am still here with my pitiful meow and the constant headbutts. I got a big head so you will definitely know that I am there. ;)

I was adopted out as a young kitten however due to no fault of my own I was returned into the loving care of North Texas Cat Rescue. You may have noticed that I am front declawed. This was sadly done by my previous adopters. Do not worry though, I have had no issues while with my foster family regarding my litter box habitats. 

I am adoring all of the love and cuddles from my foster family. So much so that I would like all of the love to be just for me, therefore I would need to be the only cat in my furever home.
