For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Reba is a very sweet, even-tempered, affectionate senior tortoiseshell kitty.  Through no fault of her own,  her former owner elected to re-home her instead of taking her when she moved .

Reba’s foster mom has five small dogs, which she does quite well with.  In her previous home she had been exposed to one dog.  In her foster’s home Reba has her own room with a view where she can go if she wants a bit of peace and quiet.  She often spends the day in "her" room, but comes out when her foster mom is home. She enjoys watching the wildlife at the bird feeder right outside her bedroom, listens to the radio and will investigate the rest of the house when her foster mom is home. Reba especially likes sitting in the kitchen window in the afternoon when the Sun is out and she can sunbathe.

Reba enjoys having her stomach rubbed just like a dog, bein g brushed, playing with the occasional cat toy, napping and watching the goings on in the backyard from the living room window.  Reba is a really low key, low maintenance kitty who would probably do just fine with other cats and or dogs, but would probably prefer only one or two.  She is a bit shy when meeting new people, but her foster mom says she is getting to be more personable every day.  If interested in Reba, please fill out an adoption application and her foster mom will get back to you.
