We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.

If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hi! My name is Ainmire (AE -NMih-R) which means Great Lord in Gaelic. As a great lord I expect to be treated as such. Just kidding! I'm a goofy guy, really! I am super playful with my people and I love to roll around in catnip and get silly.

As much as I love playing I really love to be snuggled by my servants...um family. Scratching the back of my neck when I'm in your lap makes me sleepy and content. I'll rub up against your legs until you take a minute to pet me. Scratch my back and I'll drop to the floor and show my belly for rubs there, too. I keep my fur silky soft so you'll want to pet me all the time!

I'd be a great cat on my own or with a friend.
