Hello, my foster mommy would want you to know that I am the sweetest kitty she has ever met.  I love to watch things, people, the house, then suddenly, out of nowhere, burst into play for a time. Mommy says that I play Q- Tips with her ankles, meaning sometimes she will feel my soft paw touch her ankle because I want a pet.   If you want a sweet, quirky, shy kitty who will come out of her shell for the right amount of love, I'm your gal!

Skyla is FIV positive. If you're not familiar with FIV, it stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. It is a virus that is not transmittable to other species and only spread from cat-to-cat via blood - so deep bite wounds. Skyla is spayed and lives with non-FIV and FIV+ cats in her foster home without any issues/concerns about the virus being spread. FIV does not negatively effect a cat's life or lifespan nor does it impact their quality of life.  However, it is very important FIV+ cats are taken for yearly check-ups at the vet and their teeth are checked.
