Gigi found herself alone, hungry, scared, and with a badly broken leg. Sadly, this little girl - with a visibly broken leg - was ignored by hundreds of passerbys outside of the Chili’s she was calling home. Finally, a wonderful couple reached out to the rescue community to help her. They helped to trap her and get her to us/our vet. Her leg was too bad to save so Gigi is now a 3-legged girl. Being a “tripod” doesn’t slow her down! She’s very playful and loves the other cats in her foster home. She especially loves Reggie…in case you’re looking for a pair of sweethearts…consider this May/December romance. Gigi definitely needs a kitty friend in her forever home. She can be initially shy (in a new environment and/or with new people) but warms up in no time. She will be happier in a quieter home – I think very young children or a consistently loud environment – will be overwhelming for her. Gigi loves being held and will snuggle up against the person holding her. She loves sitting in laps too. She does drool slightly when she’s really happy (usually in a lap while she’s purring and kneading). She is great with her litter box and is figuring out scratching posts.
