Firefly is an adorable kitten who is super active! She loves to play and climb cat trees. Because of her high energy level, she must go to a home with another kitten close to her age. She came to NTCR as a bottle baby and therefore attaches quickly to people. Firefly can be a bit shy in a new environment, but warms up very quickly. When she meets new cats, she's very verbal - until she realizes they can be friends - then, its non-stop playtime fun! She is very loving and loyal to her foster mom! When she wants her foster mom's attention, she will pounce on her feet or reach for her hand. She never uses her claws to do this, however, so no scratches from this little girl! Firefly lets her foster know when it's time for snuggles and cuddles...usually when she's tired and ready for a nap. Firefly would do best in a calm atmosphere. No homes with very young children, please. Also, big dogs scare her as do loud noises and the vacuum. Regarding the latter two, she will hide and once the "coast is clear," return to her happy, active self.
