We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

I was taken to the shelter from a hoarding situation. Luckily NTCR rescued me from the overly full shelter and brought me to North Dallas. I am an extremely affectionate boy. Do you love face nuzzles? I mean do you really LOVE them? I'm a little obsessed with giving face nuzzles. I love to crawl up and down the chests of my foster humans. Eventually I calm down and sit for hours in their laps. I have a really great and loud purr. Sometimes I'll jump onto my foster mom's chest/shoulders from the couch because she's taking too long to sit down. I like to sleep on her at night too. If you're looking for someone super affectionate, then I'll consider you for my forever home. Let's meet!
