Hi! My name is Amelie. My first year and a half of my life have been a bit rough but it's been all sunshine and rainbows since I was rescued and went to live in my foster home. I didn't feel well at all and was so exhausted from my prior home and traveling I laid down and got the best week of sleep in my life.  I like it at my foster mom's house but I know I need to move on to a permanent home. I'll be a little shy at first and hide but if you give me space I'll come around. Especially if I'm offered a bit of wet food. ;)   Once I'm comfortable I'll come up on the bed or couch with you for naps, I may be petite but I can stretch out and take up a lot of room. I really know how to relax :). My favorite thing, and this will make me really happy in my new home, is to watch out the windows. I consider myself part of the Neighborhood Watch program, though I'm bad at reporting things. I like to watch the front window to see the people and cars going by. Then in the back there's a patio with bird feeders and I am fascinated with all the critters stopping by! I don't seem to have any problem with other cats, I'm a bit on the submissive side. As much as I've tried though the resident cat in my foster home doesn't like me and bops me on the head. I just brush it off. (Update-she kinda likes me now!)  If you're interested in me please submit an application.
