Hello World,  I am GUS ( remember Lonesome Dove)and I am a handsome Persian Mix A little background of my life before I was SAVED. I was living in a" breeding Mill" read -I was used as a procreator for a greedy so-called breeder- along with 90+ other poor souls. Our nightmare came to an end when we were seized by the Sheriff Department and transferred to the Killeen Animal Shelter. A judge awarded custody to the Shelter and we all were rescued by several rescue organizations. It didn't take me long to realize not all humans are uncarring. My foster Dad Russ showered me with love, attention and yummy food. I am such a lovely boy he tells me all the time.  I am easygoing, mellow, quiet and have started playing with a toy or two. I never have met children or dogs so I will need a slow introduction to them. I am looking for a  family I promise to love with all my heart> Are you that family?
