Aly is a very social, affectionate cat who loves to sing you the song of her people. She loves to snuggle in your lap and loves to wrestle with your arm.

She is positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLv). There are no medications to give her, but her forever home needs to be aware that annual veterinary check ups are a MUST and if she shows signs of illness, she needs to get to a vet ASAP as she will take longer to kick an illness. As an FeLv cat, she needs to either be an only cat or in a home with another FeLv cat. The disease is not transmittable to other species, but is spread cat-to-cat via saliva...usually through mutual grooming.  If you adopt her, NTCR will pay for Alys medical needs related to FeLv for the remainder of her life at one of our vets offices. If you would like to be her forever foster, NTCR will pay for any/all of Alys vetting for the remainder of her life at one of our vet offices. People hesitate to adopt FeLv cats as they may not live 15-20 years, but there's no way of knowing how long her lifespan will be. She is young and healthy, and with a clean environment, loving home, good food, and regular veterinary check-ups, she could live many more happy, healthy years. We know FeLv cats that did live to be 16 and 21 years old. If you would like to be Alys forever home, please contact NTCR and they will put you in touch with me (her foster mom.)
