This is Shania Twine, and she has a story to tell!

At only a few months old she was rushed to the emergency vet one night by her owners. She was very sick, and required a life saving surgery. The surgery was so expensive that the owners decided to have her euthanized instead. The emergency clinic contacted North Texas Cat Rescue because they saw how sweet this kitten was, and knew that she had so much potential to be a great family kitty. NTCR stepped up, the surgery was performed and a very long balled up piece of string was lodged in her intestines and was the source of her illness. She earned the name Shania Twine.

Shania is fully recovered and enjoying her kitten life. She would do great in a busy family setting, with older children, other animals, and lots of chaos.

She would definitely need another 4-legged playmate (dog or cat).

Shania likes to run and play during the day, and will take cat naps next to her foster mom's computer while she works. At night, Shania loves to cuddle in bed, and will stay the entire night curled up tight to her human. This little girl has lots of personality.
