My name is Willow. I was found on the shoulder of a very busy highway in Dallas, I had been hit by a car and my legs were badly injured. The doctors were going to amputate my back leg, but while I was scheduled and waiting for my surgery day, my leg began to heal on its own. I am now able to use it again. I will always be a little wobbly in the back, and my new family will need to be sure to be gentle with me because I am still tender. I can run and jump by myself, without any help. I have not ever had a family of my own before, I was born outside and lived outside until the people at NTCR took me in and cared for me. I am extremely sweet and gentle. I love humans and attention. I just found my meow and have started talking when its time to eat :-)

I have never played with toys before, so I am still getting used to them. I have no interest in living outside ever again, I enjoy the comforts of a cozy home. I would do well in a quiet home as an only kitty, or in a home with other animals that are gentle with me, or in a family home with older considerate children. I have excellent litter box manners, and I act like a proper little lady around the house. I would love to find my furever family before my 1st birthday
