We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Solstice is a beautiful and sweet calico. She’s all looks and no calico attitude! Solstice came to NTCR when she showed up at the home of a lady who feeds stray cats and proudly brought her four newborn kittens (Sonny, Soleil, Skye, and Seren) to the woman’s doorstep. (This was right after our big snow/ice storm too.) She’s been a wonderful mom to her babies and is ready for a home of her very own. She’s very shy in new environments and needs a quiet home. Solstice is very comfortable in her foster home and with her foster mom. She loves attention from her and follows her foster around. So we have no doubt that after she settles into her forever home, she will be just as loving and affectionate towards you! She loves other cats and would be very happy with another cat in her forever home. Solstice is playful and loves toys. She also loves to be brushed and will happily sit next to her foster mom for love and pets/scratches or a nice brushing. Her coat is a little less fluffy now (summer coat vs winter coat) but she is medium-long haired. She has excellent litter box manners and loves her scratching post.
