Reece is a stunning, unique chocolate-colored kitty. He may be a Havana mix based on his shiny reddish-chocolate colored coat and face/body shape. He is full of purrsonality! He's basically a giant kitten. He loves toys, loves to play, loves the other cats in my home, especially the ones who will play with him. 

Reece has really flourished now that he's settled in and has a consistent routine. He's very relaxed and comfortable. He loves belly rubs and will roll over for them. He loves beds - human beds, that is - and knows when it’s bedtime. He will sometimes sleep in bed with me and cuddle. He loves to talk, chirp and whirl. There is a possiblity that he  may be shy in a new environment and be more talkative until he settles in. He did this at my house, but now that he's with the rest of the kitties, he's very happy. 

Reece does  not do well in the car so he needs to remain in close proximity to the DFW area (like within a one-hour radius). Reece came to us after being dumped in a small shelter with an extremely high kill rate. He was terrified in the cage there and we knew he wouldn’t survive long. He’s been nothing but happy and grateful since then. Whoever dumped him there, didn’t bother to ever give him toys or play with him because he initally had no idea what to do with toys, but he's definitely figured them out! Overally, h e's super affectionate, playful and grateful to have a roof over his head and consistent food. He has very good litterbox and scratching post manners.
