We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I’m Rubyn! 

I was rescued with my siblings when I was 3 weeks old and was a sick boy., but that was a long time ago and I’m healthy, happy and ready to find my forever family! I’m a curious and goofy, young man who loves to play chase, wrestle and act silly, but I also love cuddles and am very sweet. I like to play with springs, mouse toys, balls, wand toys, tunnels…oh and that little red dot! Foster mom says I’m a good hunter. I also love head and chin scratches and gentle chest scratches but don’t scratch my tummy or my toe bean daggers come out. I don’t have a mean bone in my body and am quick to accept new kitties and people. I’ve never been around kids but I think I’d really like them as I’m playful and can just nicely walk away if I don’t want to play. I also love my food. It’s taken me awhile to learn my manners and know that    I’m safe now and will always have good food to eat. I would do best in a home with another playful kitty as I’m still a kitten and have energy.
