Sarafina and her siblings came into the shelter as little ones with momma who didn't want to interact with people and the volunteers wanted to give them a good chance at adoption so reached out for help.  The babies have taken to the indoor life very well.  Sarafina is the biggest of the litter and also the most independent.  She likes to be in charge but is all kitten and can't resist the toys in her foster home and chase of that red dot.  She comes to her foster family for loving but is not a lap kitty as yet.  She'd love to have friends to play with but a good spot in the sunlight and play time are her priorities.  

Sarafina and her siblings did test postive for FiV which is an immunodeficiency.  This will not affect her life span but she may need dental work earlier than your average indoor kitty.  This may be a false positive test from her mother's antibodies so a re-test is recommended at 6 months.  Our counselors would be happy to speak with you about FiV and this sweet girl so please reach out.
