We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Sarabi is all kitten and loves to play chase and wrestle and cuddle especially with her brother Simba.  She is not as outgoing as her sister Sarafina but will follow her lead and run and play then take a re-charge nap on the cat tree or someone's lap then off they go again.  Her rough start to life ended at the shelter when a volunteer found a foster home and she is embracing the indoor life with human companions, fuzzy mice, string toys and balls for chasing (of course they all end up under the couch so she needs a slave to retrieve them)

Sarabi and her siblings did test postive for FiV which is an immunodeficiency.  This will not affect her life span but she may need dental work earlier than your average indoor kitty.  This may be a false positive test from her mother's antibodies so a re-test is recommended at 6 months.  Our counselors would be happy to speak with you about FiV and this sweet girl so please reach out.
