Hello my name is Grace (or Gracie when I'm being extra sweet) and I'm a cute Calico girl.

I started as a house cat but when my human moved away I got left behind. I hung out in a McKinney neighborhood and being an independent girl I lived on my own for over a year. Then when I had my second litter of kittens we were all discovered in a storm drain and were grateful to be taken into a warm home again. My seven sweet babies all found forever homes and now I'm looking for a loving person to call my own.

When I feel safe I am playful, often chatty and admit that sometimes when I'm extra happy I will get the zoomies. Mostly I'm calm and gentle and like nothing better than hanging out at my scratching post or getting a special treat. I would love to find to find somewhere quiet and comfy to relax and my ideal someone will be loving, patient and kind but also someone who wants to spend time with me and play. I love catnip, feather toys and chasing string or sitting in a box that a Gracie gift was just delivered in. And did I mention treats? I also love hanging out near a window watching the clouds and birds fly by and always curious about what's happening outside. 

My foster humans tell everyone I have a sweet nature and would do well in a home with someone who is willing to take the time to show me that they love me.
I think they've got it right!
When I know you are my person I will quickly show you just how affectionate I can be.
If you are kind, loving and willing to spend time with me I would love to come and live with you. I would be happy one on one , or with a couple or a family. Tweens, teens and older kids preferred but I'm not too sure about dogs as I may be a bit scary towards them.

I'm a little wary hanging out at the adoption center (all those noises, distractions and strange smells) but if you would like to meet me I can easily get a ride over for a meet and greet.  I have become a lot more confident and outgoing since being in foster care and like my chin and ears to be scratched. And my head. Oh and my tummy too.
