We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.

If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

My name is Toulouse and I am a lover and demand love. I love strings of any kind-from strings on your PJs, to twine or rope. I am extremely energetic, playful & curious. I was the only boy of my litter & the big brother. I am very bonded to my sister, Cinder, who helps me burn off all my energy. We are a good team. We would be very good in a family with kids or a home that loves to provide attention. I am back with NTCR as I didn't do well with a lot of change that went on but as long as you give me time to adjust I'll be your best friend. (My sister Cinder tries to get me to behave but boy kitty energy you know? We'd love to stay together so we can wrestle and play chase before cuddling up with our humans.

If you would like to meet one of our NTCR cats from PetSmart, Adopt-a-Pet, or Petfinder, please call us at 214-454-9395 and leave a voice message. We check them daily. Or you can email us at adoption@northtexascatrescue.com if you are ready to adopt. You will receive information and forms to complete the process.
