Asher is a beautiful Russian Blue mix. He enjoys the company of other animals, and is especially well behaved around senior dogs and cats. It will warm your heart to see him kiss and snuggle other kitties or pups in your home. But he is not so affectionate towards people. He is not a lap cat. He doesn't want to be pet or picked up. It will take an experienced, patient, and empathetic cat owner to work with him as he comes to trust his new family, so please do not expect him to bond to you right away. That said, we can't express enough how much he really, really loves other animals. *That's why Asher must go to a home that already has pets or he must be adopted with another furry friend.
