We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Rosita! I am an affectionate, gentle, and beautiful girl.

I came to North Texas Cat Rescue with my three young kittens. I did a wonderful job keeping my babies safe during the harsh winter and did my part in raising them to be loving kittens, now it is my turn to live my kid free life. Now don't get me wrong I love my babies, however I am ready to move on to the next chapter of my life.. I love to be cuddled and loved on, this really gets my purr box going. After my purr box gets going biscuits aren't far behind, what can I say I really am a sweet girl. I really enjoy being where people are, whether that be next to you while you watch TV, work or read a book. I really am a go with the flow kinda girl.
