We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.

If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Summer is the SWEETEST girl! She’s very friendly and just wants to cuddle with people. She has the most beautiful markings and lots of gorgeous caramel colors in her fur. She would be super happy in a quiet home where she gets all your love and attention! She does not like dogs and is best suited to a home without them.

Summer is FIV+ which is NOT transmittable to other species and only spreads from cat-to-cat via blood (i.e. deep bite wounds). It does not negatively affect a cat's life/lifespan or their quality of life. FIV+ cats may have above average dental disease and if they get sick, it can take them longer to recuperate. It's very important that FIV+ kitties are taken for yearly vet check-ups. FIV+ and non-FIV cats CAN live together as long as the cats are not aggressive towards one another.
