Mushu is a calm, super affectionate boy! He loves attention and pets, and in return, he will give kisses. He really wants nothing more than to have a person to devote himself to and be their lap cat. He would love to have all the attention in his forever home! (Plus, he's not really a fan of other cats.) He likes to talk to his foster mom and has the voice of Siamese/Oriental breeds, so between that and his face/body structure, we think he’s got a bit of those breeds in his genes. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter where his time was limited. We don’t know how he ended up there as he’s a fabulous boy. He has excellent litter box manners and scratching post manners. He is FIV+, but if you're not familiar with FIV, it stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. It is a virus that is not transmittable to other species and only spreads cat-to-cat via blood. It does not negatively affect a cat's life or lifespan, nor does it impact their quality of life. It is important that FIV+ cats may have above average dental disease, i.e. need dentals sooner or more often. It's not always true for every FIV+ cat; however, it's really important that when FIV+ cats are taken for yearly check-ups at the vet, their teeth are also checked.
