If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.   For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters. If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). Fangsy is a Lilac Point Himalayan about 2-3 years old. He was dumped outside when his owners moved. They never came back for him so a nice neighbor brought him to the shelter. Fangsy has quite a memorable face and underbite, hence his name. The underbite doesn't cause him any problems - he eats just fine! He was so badly matted when we rescued him from the shelter that he required a "lion cut." His beautiful coat is already growing back and will require daily brushing. Fangsy LOVES being brushed and getting lots of attention. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and is incredibly sweet! He loves to gives kisses. He is playful, but prefers to interact with people rather than toys. His favorite "games" are to hide under the bed and playfully paw at your feet, and he finds it very fun to help make up the bed every morning. Fangsy gets along well with the other kitties in his foster home so he would be fine with a kitty friend or as an "only child." We don't know if he gets along with dogs or kids, but based on his sweet disposition, he would probably be fine with them. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, front declawed and microchipped. All he needs is a forever home! His adoption fee is $200.
