I’m Baccus, or BC as my foster mom calls me. I usually don't make it to adoption events as I’m not fond of being held. I was caught in a humane trap and my foster saw me come into the shelter. I was a fat little kitten happily wolfing down the wet food that the animal control officer gave me. Foster mom said that the minute she looked into my eyes, she knew she had to save me.

I am available for adoption immediately as I'm up to date on all my vaccinations and neutered, but I need an experienced adopter. I’m a bit of a conundrum to my foster mom. I love to follow her around and am usually within 10 feet of her at all times. However, I don’t really like to be touched. We’re working on that. Foster mom gives me delicious treats, like chicken, and she makes me take them out of her hand. I still sometimes gently tap her hand, to let her know she should drop the chicken. She won’t…she’s mean like that. She makes me take it from her hand and then she tries to pet me… sheesh , the indignity of it all!!

Foster mom says that as long as I have another friendly cat to play and socialize with, I’ll be a happy guy. I'm coming around, but still need some time getting used to people. However, it's totally worth it cause because I am gorgeous and have silky long fur! I am really good at using my litter box and scratching posts. I love the cat trees and towers, those are super fun!
