Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our mission!

Raven was adopted from us in 2013 as a kitten. A few weeks ago she was found near Stonebriar Mall out on her own and was turned into the Collin County shelter. Her microchip led animal control to our rescue, who of course took her back. She was obese and had a serious UTI. She was in pain and miserable. We don’t know the circumstances of her prior owner or why she let Raven get so overweight, failed to take her to the vet, or why she was outside. We were unable to locate the adopter, and her family was not forthcoming with any information to help us find her or Raven’s brother who she also adopted. Raven is SUPER sweet and loveable. She is tolerant of the other cats/kittens she is being fostered with.  In fact, the kittens love her! She loves pets. She is approx. 22 lbs and will need someone who can keep her on diet food and get her weight down. Her current weight is NOT healthy. Raven is looking for the person that can give her another/better life in the next 8-10 years.
