Katniss is extremely sweet, gentle, and quiet. And, just look at her cute, little pink nose!! She was rescued from a local shelter - she had either been attacked by a dog or coyote - and needed surgery to repair her wounds. Because of that, she does not like dogs and cannot be adopted to a home with dogs. She LOVES people though and loves a nice cuddle and head/face scratching. She is playful on occasion, but tends to be more of a couch potato. She has excellent scratching post and litter box manners. If you're looking for a sweet companion, please consider Katniss, she's been waiting for a while for her forever home. (By the way, the shelter volunteers named her Katniss, and we decided to keep it. After all she'd been through - and being super brave and strong to fight off her attacker - it seemed appropriate for her.)
