Attention NTCR Community We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for understanding and supporting our mission!
I am Amaretto .
I came all the way to McKinney from Amarillo TX. I was an "inmate" at the Shelter when NTCR put me on a transport to my foster home. I was very sick with a bad strain of URI. I am doing fine !
I am a sweet playful kitten who loves other kittens. At first I was too sick so I was quarantined for over 3 weeks but when I saw the other kittens I knew I had missed out on lots of fun. Now I am part of the pack and love the playing and running around.
Ihave good bathroom manners and I am good at using the many scratchers in the house. De clawing is NOT for me! Just thinking about it sends chills through my spine!
So what are you waiting fro? Pick up that phone and call NTCR to ask about me or email adoption@northtexascatrescue.com and remember to mention my name AMARETTO!
