Attention NTCR Community
We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.

For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for understanding and supporting our mission!

I was in rough shape when someone found me and brought me to a NTCR volunteer. I was severely undernourished, bad case of ringworm creeping up, pretty bad upper respiratory (kitty cold) and one of my eyes was infected.

Fast forward a couple months later and I feel so much better! I have a fat belly, ringworm has gone away and no more cold. Unfortunately my infected eye couldn't be saved; it was removed and I gotta say it doesn't bother me! I can run around and play with my foster kitty friends and climb trees and do everything any other kitten could do.

I love to play and chase my foster kitten friend I like big kitties too, especially if they're playful. I'd enjoy having a friend in my new home too. I've not met anyone I didn't like-though I haven't met big dogs yet. I like to be cuddled but when I nap I prefer to sleep on my own in a cat tree by the window. I don't want to miss out on some bird action! Being out of the cage and roaming the house is still new to me so my habits might change in a new environment.
