We are temporarily closing intake for NON-NTCR cats. Our resources and space are limited. If your cat is not from NTCR, you can contact the shelter or rescue where you adopted them or explore other rehoming options.
 
For Those Surrendering NTCR Cats
Please do not abandon them or take to other shelters.
If you adopted your cat from NTCR and need to surrender them, please schedule an appointment with us (See link under the Adoption column). We may have a waiting list for openings in our foster homes, so your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

William (aka Willie) is a high-energy, high-mischief cat who came all the way from Amarillo to find just the right person. He loves people and other cats, and likes to be in the middle of whatever's going on.  If you're reading a book, it's 50-50 whether he'll sit on your chest or try to eat the book (with a small chance that he'll take a third option and curl up adorably in your lap). Trying to brush your teeth? His head's under the faucet! Looking at your phone? He'll try to eat it! When he's tired out, he's sweet as pie - he loves to nap on laps or get head scritchies. Are you the right person for Willie? Do you love to play and romp as much as he does? Maybe you have kids who want a boisterous playmate? Come and meet him and find out! William and his foster-mates had a feline rhinovirus - a respiratory virus that's not contagious to humans. It's safe for him to be around vaccinated adult cats, but he should not be around unvaccinated cats or kittens.
