River was found while her foster family was camping on the Frio River. A lady living nearby fed stray cats but did not alter them. Many were feral, but not River. She came up to her foster family's campsite every morning for breakfast, hung out in the shade during the day and slept in their comfy chairs at night. She was not cut out to make it on her own; she was looking for better living quarters and luckily she found them!
